Welcome to Statement

Statement is the name of our very special choir. The choir was set up in September 2011 for people of all ages, abilities, and disabilities.

The current choir has 30 members and we rehearse every 1st and 3rd Thursday in the month at 4.30pm - 5.45pm at Magdalen Way Methodist Church.

Statement sings a wide variety of music and can accomodate anyone from the one note wonders to proficient sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. The aim of Statement is to make music accessible to all and more than that, make it FUN!!!

The cost of each choir session is £1 to cover music costs and photocopying. We are able to keep the cost low because Magdalen Way Methodist Church is sponsoring our rental costs.

There is a uniform of 2 T-shirts and the uniform package is £18.00.  Please can we ask that the choir members wear black trousers with the uniform.

We ask that all parents and carers stay and there is the facility of tea and coffee for 20p.
